Hord,

The springs that hold everything together on my M4 system rattle and vibrate extremely loud at certain rpms.....is this normal?  Is there any way around this?  I am thinking that more of the "rubber" springs might help this situation, which my kit only came with two, should all of them have been rubbers?

Occasionally they do that.  If the springs in question are the non-swiveling type, you can wind in a half turn of twist, and sometimes that will help them lay tight against the pipe.  Or safety wire the springs if you have it on hand.  There's not much rhyme or reason to the springs they supply, some have the silicone boots and some don't.  I don't have any extras on hand but I can get some next time I order from them, if you want.

I'll get back to you on new springs....first I'll try the twist and safety wire.   If that doesn't work, can you PM how much it'll cost to get the rubber springs?  Thanks again

I had to order some stuff from M4 today so I had them throw springs in the box.  I specified the booted type but we'll see what shows up.  If you keep having trouble let me know and we'll figure something out.

the spring on the side of my rear header was vibrated through yesterday like a chain saw and was just hanging loose when i came in from a race. i just safety wired it with a little bit of slack so that doesn't get sawed through either.

Well, I tried the twist trick, but they still vibrate pretty loud.  I just noticed the other day that one is missing too  Undecided  So if you have some of the booted type let me know how much you want for them.  Thanks
