Racetech springs on F3 internals

JD,
Got the racetech springs in the fall w the emulators. I have now gotten a set of F3 forks and I am switching out the upper tubes and the internals into my stock lowers.
I have the F3's apart and the stock springs are longer than the racetechs. DO i just need to cut new spacers tubes to compensate for the shorter springs?
