When I got my hawk last year it came with a K&N and a muzzy exhaust. The filter was pretty messed up so i swapped it for a set of much more affordable set of pod filters. I also changed back to the stock exhaust, the muzzy was just too loud for my neighborhood.

So I was installing pod filters on my hawk when i noticed that the needles are not stock. So thats got me wondering what jets i have, and also what jets i will need?

Currently the bike runs fine. Starts with no choke when its warm out. Has a little to no stumble and the power seems decent, though im sure it could be better. I can only get the front wheel to lift a foot or so.

I ride around 400ft above sea level. So my question is what should my needle and jet setting be? I would like to avoid buying a 70$ jet kit if i can.
